It boasts a full-time marketing department, more than 10 auctioneers on staff, and follows through to assist with closings.
Where: Headquarters in Omaha, Nebraska. “Farmers National Company covers the central two-thirds of the U.S. We currently are active in 24 states with the ability to conduct auctions in most states in the U.S.,” says Vice President Lee Vermeer, ALC, AFM.
Why: The company has an impressive reach and closed sales numbers, particularly in the heart of the country, where productive farmland is booming.
Wow: “In 2011, we completed over 220 successful land auctions, of which more than 60 involved multiple tracts, selling almost 60,000 acres,” notes Vermeer.
