I recently had the opportunity to pick the brain of Whitetail Properties CEO Jeff Evans, and I cut right to the chase. What are buyers’ main drivers and what are they looking for this fall, I asked. His succinct answers follow.

• Interest Rates: The recent half-point reduction in interest rates is drawing more buyers into the market.
• Election Year Dynamics: As with every election cycle, uncertainty is pushing investors into more stable investments such as land.
• Demand: No matter the use, demand for land is strong. Inventory is the wild card.
