King Ranch Heirs

Created in 2003 to commemorate the 150th anniversary of the founding of King Ranch, the KING RANCH INSTITUTE FOR RANCH MANAGEMENT at Texas A&M University – Kingsville focuses on educating the next generation of ranch managers. Alone in higher education, it offers a master of science in ranch management. As the Institute approaches its 20th anniversary, its founders take pride in the outstanding list of achievements by its alumni who currently manage more than 8.4 million acres of ranchland, 167,000 head of cattle, and 1,078 horses. In addition, KRIRM alumni oversee 694 employees on some of the best-known outfits in the country, including Deseret Ranches, Hoodoo Land & Cattle, King Ranch, Turner Ranches, and the Winecup Ranch.
