A SUMMER TO REMEMBER
It’s been several years since we’ve seen a summer like this one. I’ve heard that remark from brokers nationwide, including Alex Maher of Live Water Properties in Jackson, Wyoming. “The current land market feels normal and healthy again with plenty of volume trading in cash transactions, perhaps even a bit more active than pre-pandemic levels,” Alex told me.
That’s not the only positive trend Alex is seeing. “Buyers are active in all regions and land types, in less of a rush than the COVID years, yet still motivated by age-related use goals. Many who missed the faster deals in recent years are in a great position to pick and choose among a growing inventory of quality properties coming on the market now,” he added.
