GOLDEN GIRL. Jutta Leerdam celebrates after winning gold during the medal ceremony of the Women’s 1000m speed skating at the 2026 Winter Olympics.
On February 9, millions cheered the Flying Dutchwoman, Jutta Leerdam, as she shattered the Olympic record in the 1000-meters speed skating. Land Reporters were far from the only Americans rooting for Jutta. Her fiancé, Jake Paul, went viral for his emotional reaction to her decisive gold-medal performance. Less than a week later, Leerdam followed that astonishing turn on the ice with a silver medal in the 500 meters. Team Paul was well represented in the stands then, too, embraced by her countrymen amid a sea of orange.
Top-Flight Training Routines
The next question is whether the 27-year-old Leerdam will store all that new hardware at Paul Reserve in Bainbridge, Georgia. The plan last August, when Jake led us on a tour of his spectacular new property, was for her to retire from the sport once she inked her way into the history books as the fastest woman on Olympic ice. The long-track sprinting star’s rigorous training schedule kept her in Europe for most of 2025, but Jake felt confident that she’d fall as hard as he did for the towering pines, abundant wildlife, and sumptuous lake views.
For the influencer/boxer/businessman, the property was love at first sight. In the company of his father, Greg Paul, he first visited the sporting ranch in early 2025. He was hooked in part thanks to the whitetailed deer and wild turkey that make their home on the land. “We probably saw 150 deer in like 45 minutes,” Jake recalled. “It was the perfect temperature, just beautiful weather. This place is just magical.”
Creating Paul Reserve
Paul forked over $40 million for the iconic property — equivalent to his payday from duking it out with Mike Tyson in November 2024. While Jutta trained in Europe during the summer and fall, Jake installed a boxing ring at Paul Reserve and set about making the property his own. He began filming YouTube content and introduced his 21 million subscribers to Paul Reserve. Episodes filled with his signature, high-energy antics dropped in January, including a tour of his 2-mile ATV track, the impressive shooting range, and the future location of an airstrip suitable for his Gulfstream.
Once Jutta arrives on the scene, she and Jake are going to begin planning for a new home likely overlooking Lake Seminole.
“One of the next steps is getting animals like horses and cows and goats,” he told us. “And we’re going to be putting up some bumblebee hives to make our own honey.”
Jutta’s fans 6.3 million Instagram followers are no doubt rooting for regular glimpses into her post-Olympic life in rural Georgia.
