AUCTION BLOCK. Millions of dollars changed hands on this busy day.
On September 26 and 27, the legendary Return to the Remuda Sale returned to the historic Four Sixes Ranch in Guthrie, Texas. Six ranches participated in the two-day event, including Beggs Cattle Company, Four Sixes Ranch, King Ranch, Pitchfork Land and Cattle Company, Tongue River Ranch, and Wagonhound Land and Livestock.

IN THE WINGS. Auction figures were tallied and discussed throughout the day.
By the end of the sun-filled sale, nearly 150 horses had been auctioned off for a combined $3,026,500. Cowboy Passion, from the string of Zane Davis, took top honors and sold for $100,000. The Four Sixes Ranch was the high-selling ranch, with an overall total of $1,066,500.
