Bronson Cattle and Timber Sells for $35 Million
A 12,098-acre Central Florida ranch located less than an hour from the World Equestrian Center sold for just under $3,000 per acre (almost $36 million). Located in Levy County near the Gainesville and Ocala metropolitan areas, Bronson Cattle and Timber features almost 3,200 acres of pasture and more than 1,800 acres of mature planted pine. Another 900 acres can be reforested or converted to pasture. “With most of the acreage currently used for cattle and timber, this transaction reflects the growing demand for income-producing assets like land since the cattle pasture and timber are ready to work for the buyer,” said listing broker Dean Saunders of SVN | Saunders Ralston Dantzler. Saunders, Tony Wallace, Gregg Driskell, and Dusty Calderon represented the seller in the transaction. The buyer was represented by Jimmy Hancock, and John T. “Jay” Vogel II, also with SVN | Saunders Ralston Dantzler.
